This Mala necklace has the auspicious number of 108, gorgeous, 6mm black obsidian beads on a silk cord. Each bead is hand knotted in between. The mala hangs at 16 inches and can also be wrapped around the wrist 4 times. This antique ,Navajo, silver snake charm with a chip of turquoise, is a Navajo piece from the Fred Harvey era. These tags were Hand Made in sterling silver and were sold along Southwest highways from the early 1900's through the 1950's to tourists and have become very collectable.
