This Mala necklace has the auspicious number of 108, 6mm , gorgeous quality, New Mexican Turquoise beads strung on a silk cord. Each bead is hand knotted in between. The mala hangs at 16 inches and can also be worn wrapped around the wrist . The antique stamped amulet represents a pueblo Kachina.
This is an antique Fred Harvey era amulet. These tags were Hand Made in sterling silver and were sold along Southwest highways from the early 1900's through the 1950's to tourists. It is stamped sterling.
